Fair Welcome Dinner at the Overlook - Thursday, October 1, 2026
Fair Welcome Dinner
Join us on Thursday, October 1st for a festive evening of live country music, great food, drinks, and dancing as we gather to celebrate the start of Fair!
The evening begins on the Overlook patio at Paicines Ranch, where you can take in the beautiful ranch views while enjoying cocktails, appetizers, and live country music by Chris Allegretto. Chris will keep the music going through dinner as we enjoy a classic BBQ with all the sides, served buffet-style.
After dinner, we’ll head over to the Event Barn to put on our dancing boots! Tim of Bar SZ Ranch will lead a beginner-friendly line dancing session—no experience necessary. Come ready to learn a few steps, have some fun, and enjoy a great night together.
5:30–6:30 PM | Cocktail Hour at The Overlook
Drinks available at the bar & live country music by Chris Allegretto on the patio
6:30–8:00 PM | BBQ Dinner at The Overlook
BBQ with sides, served buffet-style, accompanied by live country music from Chris Allegretto
8:00–9:00/9:30 PM | Beginner Line Dancing at Bar SZ Ranch

About Gary Allegretto:
Gary Allegretto is a one-of-a kind artist that keeps you on the edge of your seat with his dazzling originality. As Western Horseman Magazine raves; “Gary's music transcends genres, generations and cultural barriers, yet is so professional and engaging that listeners can’t help but want to ride along a while longer and discover something new in a song.” Not only is Gary the best harmonica player you will likely ever hear, he is a remarkable singer, songwriter, guitarist and a masterful entertainer. His talents have earned him Grammy Nominations, the International Western Music Association’s coveted "Performer of the Year Award”, the Blues Foundation’s prestigious "Keeping the Blues Alive Award”, and an Academy of Western Artist’s Will Rogers Award. His songs have reached the #1 spot on the Western Music radio charts and his music is featured in major motion picture soundtracks and television. Gary’s engaging, inspirational, and occasionally laugh-out-loud songs delight his audiences as he tells stories drawn from his rich and diverse life experience in the West (including ranch hand, forest firefighter as a USFS Hotshot, and bouncer in a couple of rough honky-tonks).
If you are looking to hang your hat for the weekend, we have lodging available! You can kick up your heels and then take a short walk back to your room at the end of the evening! To book a room, please email us at lodging@paicinesranch.com or call us at 831-628-0288.
